HOW TO REUSE WEDDING OR SIMPLE LEHENGA IN 15 VARIOUS COOL WAYS - RENEW AND GIVE LEHENGA A NEW LOOK

Hey everyone,
hope you guys are doing good.

Lehenga is something which every Indian women has in her wardrobe and use it just once or twice. If that's a wedding lehenga, then it is used only once even after spending thousands and lakhs for it. It is not something that is meant to sleep in the wardrobe for years. Most people doesn't like to repeat clothes so here you have various cool ways to reuse and style your lehenga set differently.

Before everything just keep in mind that it's your outfit and your body so style it in a way in which you feel the most comfortable and do not just follow the trends which people keep talking about.

1. BLACK KURTI AND BLACK PANTS

Wear your dupatta with a plain black kurti and black pants. I have chosen black color since most of the colors go well with it. You can choose any color kurti and pants but make sure both the kurti and pant are of same color and just plain. Plain outfit is needed to bring out the work done on your dupatta. Example- A pink dupatta with plain black kurti and pant.

2. BLOUSE WITH SAREE

Wear the grand worked blouse with a plain saree. Lehenga blouses go well with saree. The saree can be wore in any style and still the outfit will look good and complete.

3. DUPATTA WITH SAREE

Wear your blouse with saree like the previous style and then drape your dupatta like a saree on the other shoulder or just pin it up which will look so unique and you can always carry it to any occasion.

4. MIX N MATCH

If you have more than one lehenga, you can mix and match them to create a new outfit look. You can wear the same blouse and lehenga with a different dupatta which will completely change the entire outfit. Same can be done with blouses and lehenga if the colors go well with each other.

5. NETTED CAPE TOP

Get a same colored netted cape top as your blouse and layer it above your blouse pairing it with the lehenga. You can skip wearing your dupatta by doing so and this one will look completely different from your original outfit. Cape can be bought or customised according to your need by stitching matching borders. Make sure the opening of the blouse is in the back side.

6. LEHENGA WITH CROP TOP

If the lehenga is not so heavily worked and has a simple kind of look, it can very well be paired up with a crop top of your choice. Both the colors should go well together. You can choose plain as well as patterned, printed tops if the seem to go well with your lehenga design and color.

7. LEHENGA WITH A SHIRT

If you want to tone down the work on your lehenga, you can very well pair it with a shirt. It need not necessarily be a white shirt. Choose white if it suits your lehenga or go for some other colored plain or worked shirt and tuck it in loosely.

8. SHIRT WITH DUPATTA

If you are pairing your lehenga with a shirt, do try to wear your dupatta over it like a saree. It's basically using the shirt as a blouse which can turn on your fashion game. It would look great if you use Chinese collared shirt.

9. BLOUSE WITH PALAZZO PANT

Lehenga blouses look extremely good when paired with palazzo pants. You will need some sort of worked or glossy shimmer finish pants to match with the blouse.

10. DUPATTA WITH PALAZZO PANT

Like the before style, pair blouse with palazzo and also add your dupatta to it to make it different from the previous look. You can use the dupatta came along with the blouse or some other one which would go well with the blouse and pant.

11. JACKET WITH PALAZOO

Pair the blouse and palazoo like before and now add a statement jacket or shrug to it which will make it look so different. If you are someone who is not so comfortable to wear just the blouse, you can try this look.

12. JACKET WITH LEHENGA

You can wear the blouse and lehenga as usual and then pair them with an ethnic jacket or shrug instead of the dupatta. You can get the jackets customised according to the color and pattern needed matching with the blouse and lehenga.

13. LEHENGA WITH ANARKALI

If you have anarkali dress, wear it and replace the pant with your lehenga. For this style, choose anarkali top which is not upto the floor length because it can hide your lehenga completely. Get a top which is 2 to 3 inches below knee level by which the lehenga can show up. You can use your anarkali or lehenga dupatta if needed.

14. PAIR UP WITH SHARARA

Use your dupatta and pair it up with a sharara and a short kurti or even your same lehenga blouse. Accessorise well to make the outfit look good.

15. LEHENGA WITH KURTI

When your lehenga is a kind of simple one, pair it with a long straight cut kurti.
