Here I’m back with one long pending blog post. It’s about one most affordable and much raved face pack.

ABOUT JEVA-

Jeva is an Indian Skincare brand which has a wide range of skincare products like aloe vera gels, rose toner, face serums, face packs, face washes, face scrubs, essential oils and also wide range of waxing products. Recently the brand Jeva also launched hair care products like oil and shampoo. Out of all the products they own, face packs are super hyped which definitely made me to try them.

Let’s have a detailed look at the much raved Jeva Japanese matcha green tea face pack with argan oil.

PRICE-

The face pack retails for INR 449 for 100g of product. You can find this at 30 to 40 % discount on Nykaa which makes it really affordable for the quality and quantity shown.

PACKAGING-

Jeva face pack comes in a good quality plastic tub packaging with an inner lid. This makes the mask travel friendly too. I wish Jeva had a spatula for easy usage. Packaging is good and so spillage happens.

Jeva Green tea face pack is available online at Nykaa. You can also find this offline at super markets.

INGREDIENTS-

Purified water, kaolin light, glycerin, glycerol, monostearate china clay, cetyl alcohol, stearic acid, proanediol, green clay, aloe vera, sunflower oil, capcrylic/capric triglyceride (and) camellia, sinensis (matcha tea) leaf extract, argan oil, benzyl alcohol (and) ethylhexylglycerin (and) tocopherol, fragrance, vitamin E.

HOW TO USE-

As the brand Jeva says- Apply the pack to the face and neck avoiding contact with eyes. Leave it for 5-7 minutes for it to dry. Rinse with warm water and feel the difference. Jeva face pack is good for all skin types. For optimal result, use 2-3 times per week.

CLAIMS-

Jeva’s Japanese matcha green tea face pack with argan oil is made from natural oil-absorbent clays, Japanese green tea and argan oil. A creamy, delightfully fragranced mask that spreads easily and leaves skin feeling smooth and refreshed – instantly!

Removes excess oiliness and contains proven hand-picked ingredients that fight acne and keep skin renewed.

MY VERDICT-

Jeva Japanese matcha green tea face pack is a clay based mask with such a creamy texture. It spreads so easily on the skin unlike other clay masks. Green tea face pack has a minty green color which is so soothing to the eyes. It does not dry out the skin. It helps to remove the excess oil without making the skin feel dry. This quality makes it suitable for all skin types. It can very well used by sensitive skin types too. I will suggest you to go for a patch test first before using it all over the face.

Jeva green tea face pack does tickle a bit when applied on the skin which is quite normal. It feels so cool when applied which provides good relaxation. It helps to calm down the skin and provides soft, supple skin in few minutes. As the product claims, it makes the skin feel so refreshed instantly. It adds a healthy radiant boost to the skin by which the skin glows.

It is such an affordable mask which rejuvenates and revitalizes the skin. I leave this mask on for 10 minutes. It doesn’t dry completely or feel tight. Then I gently splash some water and massage the skin for a minute and then wash it off. I pat my skin dry with a towel gently. Don’t drag the towel over the face. Be gentle. Then you can go ahead with serum and/or moisturizer. I prefer using this green tea face pack during my night time skincare routine but it can very well used at any time as per your convenience. You don’t have to really use it like 3 times a week. Once or twice a week should be good. I personally use it just once a week.

Now let’s talk about the fragrance. I sometimes feel it’s a bit overwhelming and I sometimes find it soothing so it completely depends on the mood. It actually doesn’t bother me much.

3.       It is easily available.

4.       It doesn’t dry out the skin but still manages to absorb the excess oil from the skin.

5.       It calms down the skin and hence good for irritated skin.

6.       It gives a healthy radiant boost to the skin.
7.    Jeva brand is cruelty free (not tested on animals).

CONs-

1.       Fragrance can be a bit overwhelming.

2.       I wish it came with a spatula for easily usage since dipping fingers can be messy.
